My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

Dammit, fix your sprinklers!

My apartment complex isn't very big or anything. In fact it is rather cozy, small and unlike the two others near by aren't riddled with bug, are barely maintained, or staffed with terrible management (I know through my sister living in the other places nearby...they suck terribly). The place is (for being built in the 70s) well kept, the appliances huge, the place sprayed every other month for bugs, the staff nice - it is literally a diamond trapped around not so good apartments.

But aside from their not so good mail boxes, the place seems to not know how to effectively use their lawn sprinkler systems. I mean the place has a lawn but it's not that big to require so much water everywhere. It's like a rain storm every Monday as the things jet out like water cannons. Fun for the few (like 3?) kids that roam outside, not so for the rest of us. The things are made by http://www.irrigationsupplydepot.com; they sure can make some strong sprinklers. And considering how green the grass is well they are doing their job.

But a typhoon? Geeze so much water!
