My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

I am always looking for way to be efficient about my budget and work time. I have installed EyeLeo to time myself in my work. I use Windows Calendar. I abuse post it notes. Everything including my hours and set tasks (and their amounts) is tracked by Toggl. I even dual screen my laptop and desktop pc to be more efficient.

But when it comes to setting my budget, I am terrible. I am also prone to at times being a spend thrift. This makes at times saving money for me bad. But then I heard of the Rylstim Budget system. This budget this is way more useful to me than say Expensify due to one thing – it is a calendar budget type program. So every time I open calendar I am updated on what I owe, what I have eared, what I spend and when. It is a small personal accountability program I see every day.

I love seeing what is there because it is like myself going 'Stop it. Stop blowing money on ebay. You clearly are buying more than you can afford'. Or your investment into your ebook business is working out as you have earned triple what you put in'. It keeps me on track. And considering I work for at least 3+ people at once, having such sundry things as expenses and expenditures laid out for me is great.
