My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

I always wondered how people in small medical practices moved on when business wasn't doing so hot. I mean for all these small dentists, chiropractors, physical therapy and so on places that I see, not all of them can be successful. Though I would find it odd to see a dental practice for sale sign. Think about it:

'Physiotherapy practice for sale.' Wouldn't that look a tad sleezy. This isn't just selling a building but a practice with all those customers. Even if you brought it, customers and employees would all would leave thinking things were wrong. So I wonder, how does one sell a failing, or maybe just tiresome business like that? I wouldn't doubt some simply sell because they want to move on (or have to move on as in another part of the country).

Apparently, business owners get around that by selling semi anonymously on the internet through a third party. A link entitled 'dental practices for sale' is less discouraging, especially when the right buyer comes along...
