My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

Thanks to Darwin Barton

I have been using the internet connection that I got last month by logging onto to help grow my at home business. One of my friends encouraged me to upgrade my internet server so that I could start selling some of my crafts on the website Etsy.Com. Before, my internet server would take forever to upload pictures and without pictures, you really can’t sell anything on-line. She helped me to create an Etsy store. I have always been crafty, but the thing that I like the most and that I am best at is leather working.

I learned the trade one summer when I worked on a ranch. There was an old saddle maker who showed me the ropes. Of course I don’t make saddles, but I do make personalized chaps and also really cool “saddle bags” that are purses. So far, since I have gotten a store on-line sales have soared. I may have to get someone else involved to meet the demand. If things go right, maybe I can quit my 9-5. That would be the life!
