My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

I mentioned in another blog how I was assembling a costume of sorts. This time of year is when the big parties happen; the huge holiday bashes, the family gatherings, the New Years stuff. But I decided to be fun about it, wanting to do stuff in costume. And by that I don't mean looking like an elf or anything, but sort of assembling a costume that I can use year round at say Halloween or random other events. I wanted a costume that I can re purpose into new(er) items ...or in other words into new characters.

In that blog I had talked about going to http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ for well parts to make my own doctor outfit. I intended on purchasing some small items – the lab coat, the head gear, and scrubs. Toss in the stereoscope and we have a bonafide uniform in the works.

This outfit would work as me being the soused doctor (or Doctor of 'Drinkology') and could get messy if need be. But the same outfit could be re-purposed me turning it into a zombie doctor. Or I could wear it to the multiple showings of RHPS down at the Nero. A mutiwear outfit for minimal cost. It was such a winning idea I'm madder I didn't think of it sooner. The downside about all this is I have weeks to get everything together and people tend to buy up everything this time of year.
