My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

Saving us money

My wife was really pushing hard for us to do a “staycation” which I thought just sounded dumb but we did it anyway because Shelly always wins. I thought it would be fun to include the kids too so we planned it for the summer right before they went back to school. It actually ended up being a lot of fun and we decided to make it a learning experience for them as well! Each day was based on a different country we’d never been to and the whole day revolved around that theme. On the French day we made crepes and went to the museum and watched “Amelie” on our www.Direc4u.com satellite channels. The same principal applied for an Italy day, a Japanese day, a Southern US day and even a Greek day, which is my heritage! I feel like my kids got a lot out of it and we really did save a lot of money and now we’re all talking about which of the countries we want to actually visit!
