Mr. Bean a comedy show for those who don't like comedies

Thanks for the post from Darrick Franklin

I am not the type of person who usually watches comedies. I don't like to laugh and usually don't get the jokes that the show is trying to show the audience. But, when my mother introduced me to a funny little British man named Mr. Bean I was hooked.

One day when I was in middle school, my mother turned on our direct tv premium movies channels to a bumbling child like man named Mr. Bean. We would watch his antics and laugh. The situations that he would get into by simply trying to do everyday tasks such as parking a car, doing laundry, or getting something to eat were very entertaining. How someone could make an entire show out of one task amused and befuddled me. But, I continued to watch those tapes over and over until they wore out.

When my mother decided to do some upgrades to her home, she decided to invest in satellite television. The first day that we were able to watch programming, we were searching the channels for something to watch. We both chuckled when we our eyes fixed upon the same show, Mr. Bean.

We decided to spend the rest of the day watching our favorite comedy show. Even today we still get together, watch reruns, and laugh at the simple situations that he fumbles through.
