My Goals with this Blog...

Are to document my experiences with various income streams and programs in my quest to becoming a full time freelancer working from home. I plan to list my current 'eggs' and to post the things that have and haven't worked for me.

Since I can't use them...

Personalised Number Plates as a collection? That would rock. I've always been drawn to a bit of pop art using modern manufactured items. Like people who make sculptures of old computer parts. Or the college frat guy who hangs old license plates on the wall. I knew a few people who would collect old signs - crossing signs, traffic cones, door signs...leaning a flair to their house. Some were well the sticky fingered type, but some would actually go to sites that would sell (or auction sites like eBay) used signs to collectors.

I mean there's sites where you can purchase genuine plates even though they know you wont use them on a real car. I mean buying a bare bones plate from TX or overseas is still money in their pocket right?

Well I've always wanted to have a pop art wall full of those U.K. style plates. A few posts ago I mentioned how I loved the sleek look of them. I can see the sea of yellow rectangles down my wall...then again I could layer them or frame them. Hmm. I also have to retract a statement from my past blog - I noticed that U.K. plates are customizable - they use numbers and symbols to customize their plates though, no pictures. But I find their way still not as gaudy as a big flaming cat from space.
